Payment Terms

Effective Date: August 30, 2026

Understand how payments, billing, refunds, cancellations, third-party costs, chargebacks, and service engagement rules work with BBB Marketing.

Website: https://bbb-marketing.com

Legal Entity: BACKBONE BUSINESS MARKETING - FZCO

These Payment Terms apply when you purchase, approve, or receive paid services from BBB Marketing.

If these Payment Terms conflict with a signed proposal, invoice, service agreement, statement of work, or other written agreement, the written agreement for that specific engagement controls.

1. Pricing and Fees

Pricing is defined in your proposal, invoice, checkout page, service agreement, or other written offer from BBB Marketing.

All prices are listed and charged in USD unless stated otherwise in writing.

BBB Marketing may offer one-time projects, monthly retainers, 6-month engagements, 12-month engagements, or custom service agreements depending on the project.

2. Payment Methods

BBB Marketing may accept payment by PayPal, Stripe, credit card, debit card, and wire transfer.

PayPal payments include a 5% processing fee.

Stripe card payments include a 4.2% processing fee unless stated otherwise on the invoice or checkout page.

Wire transfers must be sent in USD.

All wire transfer fees must be covered by the sender so BBB Marketing receives the full invoice amount.

3. Payment Timing

One-time projects and rapid-fire services are paid 100% upfront unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Monthly retainers are billed monthly in advance.

For 6-month or 12-month engagements, billing terms are defined in the accepted proposal, invoice, or service agreement.

Work may begin only after the required payment is received.

4. Billing Authorization

By approving a proposal, paying an invoice, accepting a checkout, signing an agreement, or authorizing work, you authorize BBB Marketing to charge the approved fees.

This may include project fees, retainer fees, approved scope upgrades, recurring payments, third-party costs, processing fees, and applicable taxes.

Out-of-scope work requires written approval before it is billed.

Approval may happen through email, invoice approval, signed scope, checkout, or another written confirmation accepted by BBB Marketing.

5. Refunds

All payments are non-refundable after payment.

This includes one-time projects, setup fees, rapid-fire services, monthly retainers, strategy work, production work, consulting, coaching, reporting, and any other paid service.

Payments reserve time, capacity, planning, strategy, production resources, and delivery infrastructure.

6. Late Payments

Late payments may be charged a $50 daily late fee after the due date.

There is no automatic grace period unless BBB Marketing agrees otherwise in writing.

If a payment becomes overdue, BBB Marketing may pause work, delay delivery, suspend access, withhold deliverables, or stop communication until the outstanding balance is paid.

The client remains responsible for all overdue amounts, late fees, processing fees, and collection costs where allowed.

7. Cancellation Policy

Clients may cancel ongoing services by providing 30 days written notice.

The cancellation period begins when BBB Marketing confirms the cancellation request in writing.

Any payments due during the 30-day cancellation period remain due.

During this period, BBB Marketing may continue active work, prepare offboarding, organize relevant assets and systems, and help make the transition clean.

8. 6-Month and 12-Month Engagements

Some BBB Marketing services are structured as 6-month or 12-month engagements.

These timelines describe the intended service structure, planning horizon, and expected delivery rhythm.

Unless the specific written agreement says otherwise, clients are not required to pay the full remaining contract balance if they cancel early.

They are still responsible for the required 30-day cancellation period and any payments due during that period.

9. Client Communication and Project Continuity

Clients are expected to respond in a timely manner, provide required access, review work, give feedback, attend agreed calls, and make strategic decisions needed for project delivery.

If a client delay blocks progress, BBB Marketing may pause timelines, adjust delivery dates, reschedule work, or continue with the best available information.

If a client becomes unresponsive for an extended period, BBB Marketing may suspend or terminate the engagement without refund.

Missed feedback, delayed approvals, missing assets, or lack of access do not create a refund right.

10. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing the information, access, assets, approvals, and business context needed for BBB Marketing to perform the service.

This may include Shopify access, Klaviyo access, brand assets, product information, offer details, promotion context, reporting access, app access, customer journey context, and timely feedback.

Clients are also responsible for ensuring their products, claims, website, offers, legal terms, compliance requirements, inventory, fulfillment, traffic, and business operations can support the work being performed.

11. Third-Party Costs

The client is responsible for third-party costs directly related to their own business.

This may include Shopify, Klaviyo, apps, email sending costs, SMS costs, platform subscriptions, integrations, hosting, payment processors, advertising platforms, and other business-specific tools.

BBB Marketing covers its own internal production tools, including tools such as ClickUp, Figma, Slack, internal workflow systems, and other tools used to operate our agency.

BBB Marketing does not pre-fund ad spend, platform spend, software fees, or third-party business costs unless explicitly agreed in writing.

12. Scope Changes

The agreed service scope is defined in the accepted proposal, invoice, checkout, service agreement, or statement of work.

Clients may request changes, but scope changes are not active until BBB Marketing reviews and approves them in writing.

BBB Marketing may approve, decline, reprice, reschedule, or restructure requested changes.

Additional work may require an additional fee, updated timeline, or revised scope.

13. Guarantees

BBB Marketing may offer specific guarantees for certain services.

A guarantee only applies if it is clearly included in the accepted proposal, invoice, service agreement, statement of work, or other written agreement for that specific service.

Website copy, case studies, examples, public claims, and past results do not create a guarantee unless the guarantee is included in the accepted commercial agreement.

14. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Clients must raise billing questions or disputed charges with BBB Marketing in writing before opening a chargeback, PayPal dispute, Stripe dispute, card dispute, bank reversal, or processor claim.

Unresolved chargebacks or payment disputes may result in immediate service suspension.

If a chargeback or dispute is filed without first attempting good-faith resolution with BBB Marketing, the client remains responsible for the original amount, processor fees, chargeback fees, collection costs, legal costs, and other recovery costs where allowed.

15. Collections

If an invoice, fee, chargeback, or payment obligation remains unpaid, BBB Marketing may pursue collection.

The client is responsible for reasonable collection costs, legal costs, processor costs, bank fees, and interest where allowed by law.

16. Service Changes and Price Updates

For active retainers or ongoing engagements, BBB Marketing may update pricing, billing terms, or service components with 30 days written notice.

Changes do not retroactively affect already-paid work.

Continued use of services after the notice period means the client accepts the updated terms.

For fixed-scope projects, pricing or scope changes require written approval.

17. Governing Law

These Payment Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Dubai International Financial Centre.

18. Jurisdiction

Any dispute, difference, controversy, or claim arising out of or in connection with these Payment Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Dubai International Financial Centre.

19. Contact
